FREIGHT LOGISTICS DISPATCHER

Anderson Freight Brokers LLC is a nationwide logistics, transportation, and freight brokerage company, with operations throughout the US. Headquartered in Lawrenceville, GA. We are searching for professional, experienced and qualified freight brokers agents who are seeking to work on commission-based freight sales opportunity and get paid after every load they get for AFB LLC and on load freight services to their customer contacts (dry van, refrigerated, flatbed, specialized, power-only, &/or intermodal).

As an AFB Freight Agent, you can work remotely from the comfort of your own home or at our office, representing Anderson Freight Brokers LLC under our brokerage authority, soliciting freight services from your customers, arranging the transportation with one of our contract carriers, and monitoring the freight to its destination. We provide ALL the back-office administrative and support work so that you can focus on selling & moving freight for your customers, plus we protect our agents from financial risks associated with customer payments and claims. Successful agents generate a 6-figure income.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proper experience in transportation and freight brokerage services

  • Experience selling truckload transportation services

  • An existing or recently active customer base

  • A desire to maximize your income on a commission basis (no limit on earnings potential)

  • Self-motivated and customer service-oriented

  • Good communication skills and attention to detail

  • No enforceable encumbrances with prior employers

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Find loads and movements, coordinate with carriers until the loads reach its destination

  • Work with AFB corporate office on a daily basis to find new loads

  • Your own customers; maintain & develop your existing accounts, the prospect for new ones

  • Post available loads and find trucks from AFB's carrier network

  • Negotiate rates with customers and carriers

  • Professional follow-up and coordination between customers and carriers

AGENTS RECEIVE:

  • Excellent sales commissions paid weekly on prior week’s invoiced loads; no waiting for the customer to pay AFB LLC first

  • No escrow or reserve funds; AFB LLC takes on financial risks associated with customer payments & claims not covered by carriers' cargo liability

  • Strong back-office support (customer & carrier setups, customer & carrier billing, and claims management)

  • Marketing materials, sales support, free web-based access to AFB LLC's TMS system, and free company email account

  • Access to DAT and other load boards

  • Prompt payments, advances, and quick pay options for carriers

  • Access to all major railways in North America for dry intermodal freight, with experienced intermodal division support

Relevant strong proven experience and/or skills: Freight broker, freight agent, freight sales, truck broker, truck agent, logistics, 3PL, transportation, truck dispatch, truckload sales, rate negotiations, customer relationships, cold calling, carrier relationships, full truckload sales.
